As we navigate the dynamic landscape of early intervention coaching, it's essential to consider the balance between our use of various adult learning principles. While reflection undoubtedly plays a pivotal role in fostering growth and development, it's important to consider that dedicating too much time to reflection could mean less time spent on other vital coaching practices, such as guided practice and caregiver practice during daily routines and/or play.

In our pursuit of empowering families and facilitating meaningful change, we must strike the right balance to optimize outcomes for each unique family we serve. Tailoring our approach is a way to align with culturally responsive coaching practices. By incorporating a flexible approach that considers the nuances of each family's situation, we can ensure that reflection is integrated effectively into our coaching practices without overshadowing other essential learning principles.
